Had an absolutely amazing stay for service in these Covid time. I got complimentary family room as an upgrade, nice gesture. The location was brilliant, in smoking sitting area, convenient to go everywhere. Moreover, it's close to fine dining restaurant and the centre.

The rooms had just been renovated, a bit dark, but English style. Rum/Gin in the bar :)
There was no "real" reception, we were welcomed by a temporary helper who didn't know her way around yet. The AirCondition in the restaurant was too cold and draughty, we froze despite warm jackets.

It was a pleasant hotel with nice staff. Parking in front of the house is only possible for a short time, but a few hundred meters away you can park for free at the roadside. The food in the restaurant was good, at the breakfast one responds to wishes.

Nice contact at check-in. In the restaurant good food for moderate prices. Coffee, tea, water and cookies free of charge
The fold-out bed was uncomfortable, a refrigerator would have been nice.

The location is great, right next door to Sir Francis Drake, and the breakfast is absolutely fantastic with unlimited coffee, and the staff are attentive.
